Back in January 2024, in Lockhart, I complimented a stranger at the grocery store on his macaw shirt — bright, colorful, impossible to miss in the middle of winter. a kind man with a very vibrant shirt. He added me on Facebook and after seeing my offerings online, he invited me to check out an open office space he owned near the square in Lockhart.

I followed the nudge — Spirit was already working.

That tiny moment of synchronicity sparked the first physical iteration of La Lighthouse: a studio, a Temple Sacred Heart room, a podcast space, and a private session room. For 12 months, my beloved Takata RA and I poured ourselves into building community down South. We held Red Tent Circles, Reiki Trainings, ceremonies, even a market. Then a radio station moved in and placed a 20’ radio tower on the roof of La Lighthouse! The consistent traction just wasn’t there. On Winter Solstice one year ago, Spirit spoke loud and clear:

“It’s time to return to your people in Austin.”

As an Angelic Channel, when Spirit speaks, I listen. 

I closed that chapter on Winter Solstice 2024, and briefly opened a small trailer next to a crystal shop on South Lamar. It lasted exactly six weeks. Beautiful… but not aligned for the depth of work Takata and I facilitate.

Still, it was the final puzzle piece — the catalyst that birthed what La Lighthouse was always meant to become. 

I set up an interview at Casa, knowing in advance the trailer would not last. The day we spoke, immediately Edwardo went into his creative spiral and repurposed a storage room/old office into our space! We all worked together to remodel and curate the space and we opened with our first Village Market Faire!

It was powerful, alive, and unforgettable.
And yes — we will host another one this spring.

We are also in the early steps toward forming a Board of Directors and a 501(c)(3) in 2026 to support the long-term vision of community care, spiritual education, and accessible healing.
